Book Signing & Boutique for Habitat

Join me and others, including crafters and other vendors, as well as doing something good for others during the Boutique for Habitat which benefits Habitat for Humanity. The event is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18, held at Northwest Hills Church, 9334 Fort St., Omaha. A five dollar lunch is served of hot dogs or hamburgers, chips and drinks. Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Don’t forget to buy some delicious items from the bake sale as well.

I will sign copies of my books: Seasons of the Soul, a book similar to Chicken Soup for the Soul books which contains a spattering of true accounts of my two different autistic sons; and my historical romances which includes Lockets and Lanterns (His secret … Her broken heart), Bride by Arrangement (an anthology with two novellas — His Purchased Bride written by Ruth Ann Nordin (a mail-order bride story with a special twist) and my story, She Came by Train. (She Came by Train from Virginia to Lincoln, Neb., to become a governess of two children of a widower business man. He becomes smitten with her but to complicate matters a minister from Virginia is doing a revival in the area. Will she come by train and return by train?), and my newest release, Courtships and Carriages (Two proposals which one will Gwen choose, and the story also has intrigue when a trunk of mayoral ballots comes up missing). I also will sell copies of Ruth’s new contemporary clean romance, Bride by Design.

Come on out and you can even take photographs of me in costume that matches my Courtships and Carriages book cover pictured below. God bless.

  1. I didn’t know they were serving food. So there’s an excuse for me not to cook? I’ll have to look this up on the map to see if I can get there. 😀

  2. Take Interstate 680 and pass the Maple Street exit. DO NOT go in the far right lane because that lane will end before Fort Street. Stay in the right lane but not far right lane. The next exit after Maple is Fort Street. Take the Fort exit, get in your right lane and turn right. Then get into your left lane. You will pass Jubilee Church on your left. The next church on your left is Northwest Hills Church. (It is about three blocks from where you got off the interstate.) Turn left into the parking lot. Hope you can make it. Get there before 1 p.m. or lunch is over.
